National Day Cashback 2026 — Terms & Conditions
Specific terms for the Saudi National Day double-cashback campaign during its stated campaign period.
Campaign period: 20–27 September 2026, KSA time (UTC+3)
These National Day Cashback Campaign terms are read together with the standard cashback terms. The National Day bonus applies to eligible international spend subject to the period, activation requirement, and cap stated below.
National Day Cashback Campaign — specific terms and overrides
These specific terms apply to the Saudi National Day Cashback Campaign and are to be read together with the baseline Cashback Terms below. They state the campaign exceptions only; all baseline definitions, qualifications, exclusions, safeguards, adjustments, and other protections continue to apply unless expressly overridden here.
Campaign name and period
The campaign is the Saudi National Day Cashback Campaign 2026. It runs from 20 September 2026 at 00:00 through 27 September 2026 at 23:59, inclusive, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) time zone (UTC+3).
Activation and participating cards
An eligible Customer must activate the Saudi National Day Offer in the Darb rewards portal. To activate, visit app.darbpay.com/client/rewards, open “Saudi National Day Offer,” review the details, choose “Activate Now,” and confirm that the offer shows “Reward Activated.” Activation applies to the Customer's Active Cards at company level.
The Customer must have an active Account in good standing when cashback is calculated and credited. DarbPay may decline or withhold a reward where the account, card, or transaction does not satisfy the baseline Cashback Terms.
Eligible campaign spend and exclusions
The campaign applies only to successfully settled, eligible international purchase spend made with the Customer's Active Cards during the campaign period. Domestic spend, pending or declined transactions, refunds, reversals, cash advances, wallet top-ups, transfers, fees, and every other baseline exclusion do not qualify. Eligibility remains subject to the full MCC and general-exclusion list in the baseline terms below.
Rate and company-level spend cap
The total rate on eligible campaign spend is 4% = 2% + 2%: the ordinary 2% standard cashback plus a separate 2% promotional bonus. The bonus is measured on eligible spend, not on cashback paid. A single SAR 100,000 promotional-bonus eligible-spend cap applies across the Customer/company and is shared by all of its Active Cards and users; it is not a per-card or per-user cap, not a cashback payout cap, and does not cap ordinary 2% standard cashback.
When the company has already used SAR 95,000 of eligible spend against the cap, leaving SAR 5,000 available, and makes a SAR 10,000 eligible transaction, the 2% bonus applies to only SAR 5,000 of that transaction. The transaction is not skipped and the bonus is not paid on spend beyond the remaining cap. After the company reaches the SAR 100,000 campaign eligible-spend cap, eligible spend continues to receive the standard 2% cashback, but no further National Day 2% bonus is earned.
Refunds and restoration of the bonus quota
If an eligible campaign transaction is refunded, reversed, disputed, charged back, or otherwise adjusted, DarbPay may claw back the related promotional bonus and restore the corresponding eligible-spend amount to the company's available SAR 100,000 promotional-bonus quota, subject to the baseline adjustment provisions. Standard cashback may also be reversed under those provisions.
Crediting and other provisions
Campaign cashback is calculated monthly for the prior Reward Period and credited once per month, typically within 5–7 business days after the end of that Reward Period. It is rounded down to the nearest halala. No campaign-wide budget limit, campaign settlement-date rule, or other condition is added by these terms beyond the requirements expressly stated here and in the baseline Cashback Terms.
National Day Cashback Campaign — baseline terms
Scope and effective date
These Cashback Program Terms & Conditions govern the domestic and international cashback features offered by DarbPay for Information Technology to eligible business customers. These Cashback Terms form part of DarbPay's general platform terms and cardholder/account terms.
These Cashback Terms are effective from: 01/03/2026.
The separate Saudi National Day Cashback Campaign runs from 20 September 2026 at 00:00 through 27 September 2026 at 23:59, KSA time (UTC+3), and supplements these baseline Cashback Terms. Where a campaign provision expressly differs from a baseline provision, the campaign provision applies only for the National Day Cashback Campaign; all other baseline provisions remain in force.

Eligibility and enrollment
Cashback is available only to business Customers with an active Account in good standing (not suspended, restricted, or delinquent) at the time cashback is calculated and at the time it is credited.
DarbPay may offer Cashback as an ongoing benefit and/or as a limited-time campaign. DarbPay may set different cashback rates, caps, and eligibility rules for different customer segments, plans, or campaigns, and will communicate applicable rates and caps through the dashboard and/or pricing page as applicable.
Excluded transactions and general exclusions
Unless DarbPay explicitly states otherwise, the following are excluded from Eligible Spend and do not earn Cashback:
- Any fees, charges, penalties, taxes, or government charges charged by DarbPay or third parties.
- Cash withdrawals, quasi-cash transactions, money transfers, wallet-to-wallet transfers, and similar cash-like transactions.
- Any transaction that is Refunded (cashback may be reversed as described below).
- Any transaction that is rejected/declined/failed and does not settle.
- Any transaction DarbPay reasonably determines to be abusive, fraudulent, artificially inflated, circular, or primarily intended to generate Cashback rather than pay for bona fide goods/services.
DarbPay reserves the absolute, unilateral right to determine whether a transaction qualifies as an Eligible Transaction. The assignment of Merchant Category Codes (MCC) is dictated entirely by the merchant's acquiring bank and the global card network (Visa). DarbPay cannot change MCC classification and therefore cannot award cashback for transactions classified under excluded MCCs.
Cashback shall not accrue, under any circumstances, on transactions processed under the following categories:
- Fuel and Petroleum: Automated Fuel Dispensers (MCC 5542), Service Stations (MCC 5541, 5548), and Fuel Dealers (MCC 5983).
- Financial Services and Cash: Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Disbursements (MCC 6011), Manual Cash Disbursements (MCC 6010), Financial Institutions: Merchandise, Services, and Debt Repayment (MCC 6012), Non-Financial Institutions: Foreign Currency, Non-Fiat Currency, Money Orders, Account Funding, and Travelers Cheques (MCC 6051).
- Digital Wallets: Stored Value Card Purchase/Load (MCC 6540).
- Government and Taxation: Government Services Not Elsewhere Classified (MCC 9399), Tax Payments (MCC 9311), Fines (MCC 9222), Court Costs (MCC 9211).
- Utilities: Electric, Gas, Heating Oil, Sanitary, Water (MCC 4900).
International cashback
Except for the National Day Cashback Campaign override set out in the campaign section below, the Client shall earn 2.00% cashback on all Eligible International Transactions made using an Active Card during a Reward Period.
During the National Day Cashback Campaign, the 2.00% standard cashback continues to apply independently. The campaign bonus is calculated only as expressly described below and does not replace, reduce, or cap standard cashback.
“International Transactions” shall mean card transactions processed by non-Saudi domiciled merchants or transactions settled in a foreign currency, as determined by the applicable card network (Visa) at the time of settlement.
Cashback shall apply only to transactions that are:
- Successfully authorized and settled;
- Not reversed, refunded, disputed, or charged back;
- Classified as eligible merchant categories by DarbPay at its sole discretion.
The baseline International Cashback program is uncapped for standard cashback, meaning there is no predefined maximum standard cashback limit per Reward Period, unless otherwise communicated by DarbPay in writing. The National Day promotional bonus is subject to the campaign spend cap stated below.
Cashback shall be calculated on the net settled amount, exclusive of:
- FX markup fees,
- Taxes,
- Regulatory charges,
- Cash withdrawal fees,
- Any non-purchase financial transactions.
DarbPay reserves the right to determine eligibility based on Merchant Category Codes (MCC), card network classification, and internal risk policies.
Cashback shall not constitute interest, deposit return, or guaranteed financial yield.
DarbPay reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the International Cashback program at its discretion, subject to reasonable notice provided via the Platform or official communication channels.
Calculation timing and crediting cadence
Cashback is calculated only on Settled Transactions, net of Refunds.
Cashback is calculated monthly for the prior Reward Period and credited to the Customer's Wallet once per month, typically within 5–7 business days after the end of the Reward Period.
Cashback is rounded down to the nearest halala (0.01 SAR).
For the purposes of cashback calculation, each Reward Period shall end at 23:59 (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia time) on the final calendar day of the applicable Reward Period. Transactions settled after this cut-off time shall be carried forward to the subsequent Reward Period.
DarbPay may delay crediting where required to investigate suspected fraud, misuse, refunds, or technical issues.
DarbPay may set a minimum cashback credit threshold and may carry forward smaller amounts until the threshold is met.
Adjustments, reversals, and negative cashback
If a transaction that previously earned Cashback is later Refunded, disputed, reversed, or deemed ineligible, DarbPay may reverse the associated Cashback.
If reversals result in a negative cashback balance for a Reward Period, DarbPay may deduct the outstanding amount from the Customer's Wallet and/or offset it against future Cashback.
Non-transferability and use of cashback
Cashback is credited only to the Customer's Wallet and is not transferable to another customer, user, or external account unless DarbPay explicitly allows it.
Cashback is a promotional benefit and does not constitute electronic money issuance by itself; it is a Wallet credit usable for payments/fees under the Account.
Anti-Fraud, Account Suspension, and Regulatory Modification
DarbPay retains the unilateral right to suspend, freeze, or permanently revoke cashback privileges, without prior notice, if its automated security systems detect patterns indicative of "manufactured spending," artificial transaction splitting, systemic abuse of the domestic cap logic, or usage of the corporate card for personal, non-commercial expenditures.
The Client explicitly agrees that all card usage complies with Saudi Arabian Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations.
In strict accordance with SAMA regulations, DarbPay reserves the right to modify the cashback earning percentages, add/adjust any Tier thresholds, alter the Card Fees, or update the list of excluded MCCs at its sole discretion. DarbPay commits to notifying the Client via SMS and electronic mail a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to the implementation of such material changes, except related to fraud/security, regulatory directives requiring immediate action and urgent risk controls. During this mandatory 14-day notice period, the Client retains the right to terminate their agreement and cancel their cards without early termination fee.
Taxes and accounting
Any taxes, levies, or accounting treatment associated with Cashback are the Customer's responsibility.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Cashback Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and disputes are subject to the competent courts and authorities in Riyadh, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
